WECK 60th Anniversary Podcast!

Tom Donahue celebrates the 60th anniversary of WECK (formerly known as WNIA) which went on the air August 27th 1956. Tom is joined by Don Yearke, who was the first employee of WNIA. He played the first record on the station ("The Star Spangled Banner") at 6:30 AM on that day, and he was also the first voice heard on the station as the original "Tommy Thomas." Also joining the show is Steve Mitchell, aka "Mike Melody" who joined the station in 1961, and Jack Horohoe who worked for the station as "Jerry Jack" in the mid 1960's.
