Ralph Irene

Ralph hosts "Sinatra and Friends" Sundays from 6 to 9 p.m. The show stars Frank Sinatra and a variety of artists connected to The Chairman musically and personally.

Ralph Irene began his radio career at WACK, Newark, New York in 1958 working week-ends. In 1961, he went to WROC AM FM TV, Rochester, New York working week-ends and filling in for other jocks when necessary. In addition to a radio show, Ralph hosted a children's Sunday morning television program. He worked full-time during the summers. Ralph left WROC in 1969 to go to The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan to pursue a doctorate in education. While there, he worked full-time at WPAG, Ann Arbor as the afternoon disc jockey and program director. Ralph moved to Buffalo in 1974 and worked at WLVL, Lockport for two years, 107.7 FM in Buffalo for two years, and CKEY, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada for three years hosting a big band show, then WWKB Radio for two years doing Sinatra and Friends, and finally WECK.
