Hop on board the Easter Express from 10:30a to 3p today (April 15) at the Medina Railroad Museum, 530 West Avenue in Medina. Kids will receive a themed goodie bag, museum admission, an hour long train ride, and an Easter Egg Hunt! Trains depart at 12pm and 1:20pm. First class seating is available and includes a plush Bunny with the goodie bag and a choice of apple or orange juice, cookie, and chocolate train sucker served on board. Easter Egg Hunts will be at 11am and 12:30pm sharp.
Head to the Albright-Knox Art Gallery now through June 25 to see the exhibit by Shantell Martin: Someday We Can. Using her simple trademark line work—black ink on white surfaces—Shantell Martin transforms everything from walls to found objects, ceramics, toys, sneakers, and even the faces and bodies of participants and passersby into a signature visual narrative. Enjoy Family Night: Paul Revere's Ride at 5:30p Tuesday (April 18) at the History Center, 215 Niagara Street in Lockport. Family Nights at the Niagara History Center are a series of FREE monthly programs and activities specifically designed for families with children ages 5 and up. All ages will share a good time learning about history that happened right here in Niagara County through a brief presentation, hands-on activities, games, crafts, role-playing and other fun experiences related to the evening's theme. A pizza and beverage supper will be available for a nominal donation from 5:30pm-6pm. Fragrant shrubs and flowers of every kind will be set against the hues of tulips and daffodils highlighting the majestic conservatory at one of the most beautiful times of the year. Included with the exhibit is the 4-H Farm that will host baby bunnies, chicks, pigs, ducks and so much more! The 4-H Farm will be open from 10am-4pm daily.
